Daniel Sedlak turned professional at 18, leaving Germany for Dubai in pursuit of a racing career that would take him to over 50 countries across six continents. What started on the motocross tracks of Europe evolved into a three decade journey through the world's most demanding off-road and circuit racing environments and alongside the racing, a parallel career building businesses, training programs, and platforms rooted in the sport he grew up in. In 2024 he successfully exited two of those businesses, Sedlak Offroad School and the ADV Academy, and launched DSE Group to focus on the next chapter.
Motocross & Enduro Career
Daniel competed professionally in Motocross and Enduro for over two decades, representing Germany in FIM-sanctioned events and racing across Europe, Asia, Africa, North America, and South America. He lined up at the Motocross World Championship, AMA Supercross, and some of the most challenging off-road events in the world aboard KTM, Kawasaki, GasGas, and Yamaha. Known for his technical precision and ability to perform in extreme conditions, he built a reputation as one of the most well-traveled professional off-road racers of his generation. Along the way he accumulated millions of views on YouTube and Instagram, building a global audience that engages with his content daily.
Test Rider & Media Contributor
Alongside his racing career Daniel worked as a test rider and media contributor for several major manufacturers and publications. Evaluating everything from production adventure bikes to prototype electric motorcycles, he developed a sharp eye for product performance and a clear voice for communicating it to real riders. His work has been published in Dirt Bike Magazine and Cross Magazine, two of the most respected titles in the off-road world, covering everything from first ride impressions to indepth product evaluations.
U.S. Marines Training Program
One of the most distinctive projects of Daniel's career came through a training project with the 1st Reconnaissance Battalion of the U.S. Marines, for whom he developed and delivered a specialized electric motorcycle training program. Designing a curriculum from the ground up for one of the most demanding military units in the world required a level of precision, adaptability, and professionalism that went well beyond the racetrack. It remains one of the clearest examples of what serious motorsport expertise looks like when applied outside of competition.
Business
In 2014 Daniel founded Sedlak Offroad School in California, building it into the #1 off-road motorcycle training program on the U.S. West Coast with over 1,000 riders trained annually. In 2024 he launched the ADV Academy, a digital adventure motorcycle training platform. Both businesses were successfully acquired in July 2024. In 2020 he expanded into automotive motorsport, competing in the Mexico Racing Cup by BYD, marking the beginning of a broader transition into car racing and the automotive world.
